The administration division is responsible for the department’s overall direction and planning. It oversees all divisions of the police department and provides supervision that coordinates department policies, which affect all aspects of the department. Administration is responsible for overseeing all employees and providing them with necessary training to maximize their effectiveness within the community. Administration also manages the department budget and financial planning which includes maintaining cost-effective programs throughout the department.
